Concert Bands

The Concert Bands at Pope High School are the heartbeat of our music program, fostering excellence in musicianship and performance. We offer three ensembles that rehearse during the school day, each providing students with opportunities to grow as musicians and showcase their talents in multiple concerts throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring.

The Pope Wind Symphony, our premier ensemble, has earned prestigious invitations to perform at distinguished events, including the 2020 & 2024 Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference, the 2023 University of Georgia 'JanFest', and the 2022 University of Tennessee Chattanooga Honor Band Festival. These performances highlight the dedication and artistry of our students and directors, reinforcing Pope’s reputation for musical excellence.

Through rigorous repertoire and enriching performance experiences, our concert bands continue to inspire and elevate the standard of instrumental music education at Pope High School.
