All volunteers MUST complete the following steps:

Step 1:

Cobb County Schools considers a volunteer as "any non-Cobb County School employee wishing to serve our schools and must complete a Volunteer Application and background check."
 
Please complete this form: Volunteer Application.  After completing the Volunteer Application, potential volunteers must check their email for an invitation to approve moving forward with a background check. CCSD will cover the cost of background checks. 

Step 2:

Fill out and sign all of the forms - mandated reporter, Pope Volunteer guidelines, and FERPA forms - in the single attachment linked to on this page. Once this step is completed, you may send in the forms into the school to the attention of Josh Rudolph\Bo Sodders of the Pope HS Band. Please put the forms in an envelope and send them in into the school with your child instructing them to drop them in the white box in the band room. Alternatively, you may also scan and email these forms to both pbpapresidents@gmail.com and joshua.rudolph@cobbk12.org.

Note: Volunteers only need to complete the background check and forms one time per school year for all groups\positions for which they wish to volunteer in at Pope.

Step 3:

 

Fill out the PBPA Chaperone Agreement.  It spells out some of our procedures and rules so we can hit the ground running.
